Where’s the best coffee in your neighbourhood?

It’s a toss-up between a stiff black coffee at Kala Ghoda Café and at The Nutracker.

Is there a building that you absolutely love in Mumbai?

Kala Ghoda is my absolute favourite part of Mumbai, and the quirky, rustic turquoise blue orthodox Jewish synagogue is one my favourite buildings in Mumbai.

What space in Mumbai would make for a picture-perfect postcard to send to others who aren't here?

My happy space these days is the co-working space Ministry of New. It captures Mumbai's old-world charm being located in a heritage building in Fort, with its high ceilings and bay windows but also a modern Mumbai through its understated, elegant aesthetics and vibrant, collaborative work culture. A photograph of this truly would represent the Mumbai of today that straddles the old and new in its own unique way.

What’s your favourite thing to do on a sunny Saturday morning?

A lazy brunch at The Nutcracker (the Emmental scrambled eggs and seven-layer cookie are to die for!) followed by a visit to some of my favourite galleries in the area – Jehangir Art Gallery, Max Mueller Bhavan, DAG to name a few, and of course endless hours wandering through the CSVMS.
